Job Overview

As a Senior Electrical Engineer at KEO, you’ll play a crucial role in our Infrastructure team.

Your job will involve creating electrical designs for various projects. From power distribution to lighting, you’ll be involved in every step of the design process, ensuring everything meets the required standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing power distribution systems, including medium and low voltage.

• Creating lighting designs, especially for street lighting.

• Planning telecom infrastructure duct routing.

• Making sure all calculations follow the rules and regulations.

• Helping and guiding junior staff.

• Working with CAD Technicians/BIM Technicians to create drawings and models.

• Managing your team and checking the quality of projects.

• Coordinating with other teams to integrate designs.

• Communicating with clients and authorities to get approval for designs.

• Contributing to technical proposals for external submissions.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• A degree in civil engineering or a related field.

• Over 2 years of experience in electrical design.

• Good skills in software like Autodesk AutoCAD and MS Office.

• Experience with Dialux, ETAP, and other power systems software would be helpful.

• Knowledge of BIM and AutoCAD Civil 3D would be a bonus.

• Strong communication skills in English and Portuguese.
