Job Overview:

As the Facilities Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of building maintenance, operations, and strategic planning.

From optimizing facility systems to managing vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with international standards, you will lead efforts to drive operational efficiency and excellence.

Responsibilities (but not limited to):

1. Leadership and Team Management: Lead the engineering and maintenance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
2. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
3. Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot manufacturing and assembly issues, ensuring smooth production operations.

4. Preventive Maintenance: Conduct preventive maintenance activities for production assets, utilities, machinery, and buildings to minimize downtime.
Budget Management:

Develop and manage budgets for plant improvements and capital investments, ensuring optimal resource allocation.

5. Project Management: Manage projects for plant expansion, layout optimization, and new equipment installation, from planning to execution.

6. Vendor and Contract Management: Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed-upon terms and conditions.

Training and Development: Ensure skilled technicians are appointed and developed through relevant training programs.

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for operational excellence, leveraging international systems and processes.
8. Resource Utilization: Ensure optimum utilization of resources and funds to provide a conducive work environment.

9. Financial Management: Track project P&L and ensure projects operate within operational budgets.
10. Transition Planning: Prepare transition plans for new properties and oversee snagging, takeover, and handing over of projects.
11. New Site Survey: Conduct site surveys, prepare scopes of work, and estimate costs for new projects.
12. Contract Procurement: Develop scopes of work and technical content for contracts and procurement activities.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.

• At least 10 years of senior-level experience in facility development and maintenance.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic proficiency is an added advantage.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, particularly Oracle R12, is advantageous.
• Age should not exceed 55 years.

Salary Expectations

• Competitive salary range: SAR 20,000 to 25,000 per month (inclusive of fixed allowances).

• Additional benefits: Housing allowance, Transportation allowance, Medical Insurance.

• 30 calendar days of paid annual vacation with a return air ticket annually.
